Information We Collect

• Server logs. Our hosting infrastructure automatically logs IP addresses and request metadata for security monitoring and diagnostics. These logs are not used for marketing purposes and are retained for a limited period.
• Cookies. We use strictly necessary session cookies to keep you logged in to your RegattaHost account. These cookies contain only an encrypted session identifier — no personal information is stored in cookies. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies of any kind. Because these cookies are essential for the service to function, they do not require your consent under applicable privacy laws, but you have the right to disable cookies in your browser (doing so will prevent you from staying logged in).
• Account and registration data. When organizers create an account or participants register for an event, we collect the information provided in those forms (e.g. name, email address, phone number, boat details). We use this information to operate the service, send transactional emails, and communicate about your account.
• Payment data. Online payments are processed directly by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment card details on our servers. Please review Stripe’s Privacy Policy for information about how Stripe handles payment data.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to provide and operate the RegattaHost platform — including event creation, participant registration, payment processing, results publishing, and organizer communications. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Event organizers have access to all registration data submitted for their events and may download or manage that data through their dashboard. Participant data is retained until deleted by the organizer or upon a verified deletion request.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@regattahost.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, and in any event within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Information Disclosure

We do not rent, sell, or share personal information collected on this website. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the legal rights of RegattaHost LLC.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Personal information is stored in access-controlled databases operated by Supabase. Payment transactions are handled entirely by Stripe on their PCI-compliant infrastructure. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we apply industry-standard practices to protect the information we hold.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
